Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 8 years of related experience in Drilling/Workover Engineering and Operations. Previous experience with OPCOs, preferably in UAE. Experience in drilling new technologies (UBD, MPD, CTD, ERD) and professional use of drilling software, preferably Landmark package. Experience in business planning for Wells and Drilling Operations. Proven track record of leading drilling teams (operations or engineering).

Job DescriptionJob PurposeSet and manage Lump sum turnkey campaign Scope of Work with all related activities and manage unconventional drilling and testing activities (UBD, MLT, and multi stage frac.) Manage project cost control and rig schedule.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1) Report and update with the Drilling and well operations activities related to the Biogenic Shallow Gas project to ensure conformity with plan and program. Lead and direct the Drilling Integrated Project Management teams of the assigned service companies to execute ADNOC Exploration Biogenic Gas wells in line with the plans. Endorse and approve the Drilling programs, well plans provided by the LSTK/IPM teams and endorse and approve the AFE for the subjected wells. Define the Full Field Development Plans and the exploration requirements through working closely with the Petroleum Engineers, Reservoir Engineers and Petrophysicists. Advises as necessary the Exploration Function in all drilling related matters in terms of planning, well prognosis and technical requirements.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 3)Generic AccountabilitiesSupervision Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Implement approved Function/ Division/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.Performance Management Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/ Division / Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.Innovation and Continuous Improvement Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.Reports Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.Generic Accountabilities (continue)Internal Communications & Working Relationships Daily contacts with members in Exploration and Drilling Frequent Contacts with other upstream Divisions in respect to drilling operations. Frequent contacts with JVs, OPCOs, ADNOC Drilling and SPC's drilling staff to discuss the daily operations.
