Requirements
Ideal Candidate: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred. 8–12 years of relevant IT operations/infrastructure/cloud/service management experience, with proven leadership experience. Experience managing critical IT infrastructure, production applications, IT service desk, vendors and enterprise technology environments. Government or large enterprise experience is highly desirable. Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS/Azure/OCI, CISSP or CISM are an advantage.

A confidential Government Entity is seeking an experienced Section Head – IT Operations to lead the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of its technology environment.Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEConfidential Government EntityKey ResponsibilitiesLead IT infrastructure and operations across on-premise and cloud environments, including AWS, Azure and OCI.Oversee IT Service Management (ITSM), service desk, incident, problem, change and request management.Ensure high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery and operational resilience.Lead day-to-day IT security operations and ensure alignment with Abu Dhabi Government information security standards.Oversee production application support, patching, upgrades and operational handovers.Manage IT vendors, contracts, SLAs, licensing, assets and cloud cost governance.Monitor IT service performance, risks, KPIs and operational improvement initiatives.Ideal CandidateBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.8–12 years of relevant IT operations/infrastructure/cloud/service management experience, with proven leadership experience.Experience managing critical IT infrastructure, production applications, IT service desk, vendors and enterprise technology environments.Government or large enterprise experience is highly desirable.Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS/Azure/OCI, CISSP or CISM are an advantage.Please note: The hiring entity and further details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
