Ensure that the hospital standards and strategies comply with the latest industry practice, safety, environmental and process safety management requirements.Responsible for spare parts Management & PPM Software.Responsible for monitoring suppliers maintenance of the equipment under warranty and service contractsScrutinizes medical equipment procured and countersign delivery notes as being approved by biomedical department, when necessary.Responsible to evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of old biomedical equipment.Assists in the purchase of Medical Equipment & Instruments.Works in shifts to suit functioning of department.To be available for ON CALL and overtime work as per employment contract
