Minimum 3 years of experience as a Grade Checker with experience in road, infrastructure, earthworks, and civil construction projects. Must have a good understanding of levels, elevations, slopes, gradients, and road formation, with the ability to read civil/road drawings and familiarity with leveling instruments and basic surveying equipment. Good communication and coordination skills are also required.

The Grade Checker works closely with Surveyors, Engineers, and Foremen to ensure construction activities are carried out accurately according to approved drawings, specifications, and required tolerances. Experience in road works, earthworks, excavation, subgrade, drainage, and infrastructure projects is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesCheck and maintain required levels, grades, slopes, and elevations as per project specifications.Read and understand survey drawings, plans, and technical specifications.Work closely with Surveyors, Foremen, and Site Engineers to ensure correct levels and grades.Check formation levels, subgrade, road levels, drainage works, and other civil works.Monitor grading and excavation activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings.Use measuring and leveling tools to verify required elevations and gradients.Identify and report any discrepancies in levels or grades to the concerned supervisor.Ensure work is completed accurately and according to project requirements.Follow all company HSE and safety procedures at the worksite.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Grade Checker.Experience in road, infrastructure, earthworks, and civil construction projects.Good knowledge of levels, elevations, slopes, gradients, and road formation.Ability to read and understand civil/road drawings.Familiarity with leveling instruments and basic surveying equipment.Good communication and coordination skills.Candidates with UAE/GCC project experience will be preferred.
