A growing events company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specializing in delivering high-quality events and experiences. Are looking for a motivated Accountant to join their Finance team and support their continued growth.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Execute month-end and year-end closing activities.Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS.Monitor event and project budgets, track costs, and analyze variances.Process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and payment collections.Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, company policies, and internal controls.Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.Previous experience in an accounting firm or external audit is highly preferred.Maintain accurate financial records using Odoo ERP and Microsoft Excel.Support the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.Experience with Odoo ERP is a must.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Good understanding of VAT regulations and accounting principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience in the Events, Advertising, or Project-based industry is an advantage.
