Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. Minimum 6–8 years of progressive tax experience within large multi-entity organizations, preferably in the UAE/GCC. Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, tax governance and regulatory compliance requirements. Proven experience managing external tax consultants and reviewing complex tax filings, documentation and advisory positions. Good understanding of IFRS tax accounting, tax reporting, audits and tax technology platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle FCCS, and compliance automation tools.
Description
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Group tax function, ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing and governance requirements.Manage external tax consultants, including deliverables, timelines, service quality and technical reviews.Review and approve VAT returns, Corporate Tax filings, Transfer Pricing documentation and tax advisory reports.Oversee tax registrations, deregistration, filings, payments, refunds and regulatory submissions across Group entities.Manage Transfer Pricing compliance, including related-party documentation, benchmarking studies and intercompany agreements.Provide tax guidance on contracts, restructuring activities, cross-border transactions, and other complex business matters.Oversee tax accounting, including current and deferred tax provisions, reconciliations and financial statement disclosures.Lead tax support for external audits, regulatory reviews, tax assessments and stakeholder reporting requirements.Maintain the tax governance framework, risk register, policies, controls and compliance calendars.Drive tax digitalization, e-invoicing readiness, and process automation initiatives within SAP S/4HANA and Oracle FCCS.Monitor changes in tax legislation, assess business impact and implement required actions across the Group.Partner with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Procurement, and business teams to ensure compliant tax treatment and effective risk management.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.Minimum 6–8 years of progressive tax experience within large multi-entity organizations, preferably in the UAE/GCC.Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, tax governance and regulatory compliance requirements.Proven experience managing external tax consultants and reviewing complex tax filings, documentation and advisory positions.Good understanding of IFRS tax accounting, tax reporting, audits and tax technology platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle FCCS, and compliance automation tools.
