A leading healthcare organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Nurse Supervisor - Tissue & Organ Donation to oversee nursing activities and support the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centred organ and tissue donation services.The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team, coordinate donor-care activities and work closely with physicians, transplant teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of donor management and family support.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the day-to-day nursing activities related to tissue and organ donation.Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff involved in donor identification, assessment and management.Coordinate the care of potential and confirmed organ and tissue donors.Ensure appropriate monitoring and documentation of donor clinical status.Coordinate with ICU, emergency, operating theatre, transplant, laboratory and other relevant departments.Support the timely identification and referral of potential donors in accordance with approved protocols.Assist in coordinating organ and tissue retrieval procedures.Ensure nursing activities comply with established clinical policies, procedures and ethical standards.Provide support and guidance to families throughout the donation process.Ensure appropriate communication and coordination between the donation team and healthcare professionals.Review nursing documentation and ensure accurate and complete records.Monitor compliance with infection prevention, patient safety and quality standards.Develop, implement and monitor nursing workflows, protocols and service standards.Identify training needs and provide coaching, education and mentorship to nursing staff.Participate in recruitment, orientation and performance evaluation of nursing team members where required.Monitor service performance and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Participate in clinical audits, incident reviews and service-development activities.Promote professional standards, teamwork and continuous improvement within the donation service.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Nursing or an equivalent recognized nursing qualification.Valid professional nursing registration/license.Significant clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.Previous supervisory or leadership experience in nursing.Experience in organ donation, tissue donation, transplantation, critical care, ICU, emergency nursing or a related clinical environment is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary clinical activities.Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage sensitive situations and communicate effectively with patients families.Strong understanding of patient safety, clinical governance and confidentiality.Candidates must meet the applicable DHA professional and registration requirements.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:Organ and tissue donation coordinationTransplant servicesDonor managementICU/critical care nursingOrgan retrieval coordinationFamily counselling and supportClinical nursing supervisionNursing education and staff developmentQuality improvement and clinical governance
