Big 4 / leading professional services / established tax advisory experience is also preferred.

Location: Dubai, UAEFunction: VAT / Tax AdvisoryRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced VAT Director to lead and grow our UAE VAT Advisory practice. The role combines technical VAT expertise, senior client management, team leadership, business development, and commercial responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex UAE VAT and Tax Advisory engagements.Manage relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Tax Heads, and senior stakeholders.Develop and grow the UAE VAT Advisory practice and service offering.Identify new business opportunities and support pitches and proposals.Oversee technical quality and delivery of client engagements.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing VAT team.Drive revenue, profitability, utilisation, and overall practice performance.Stay updated on UAE VAT, FTA guidance, and GCC tax developments.Candidate RequirementsSeveral years of relevant experience in VAT and Indirect Tax Advisory.Strong UAE/Dubai market experience is essential.Strong technical knowledge of UAE VAT and practical advisory experience.Proven senior-level client management and engagement leadership experience.Experience in business development and growing client relationships.Practice/service-line management experience preferred.Strong commercial, leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Big 4 / leading professional services / established tax advisory experience preferred.CA, CTA, ACCA, CPA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification preferred.Ideal ProfileA senior UAE VAT professional combining strong technical expertise, client leadership, practice-building capability, and commercial acumen, with the ability to drive both growth and profitability.
